What is Samhain?
Samhain is a Celtic festival from which Halloween originated. It marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter.
Samhain is a time to: celebrate what's sustained us, honor all that has gone before, and set intentions for what's to come.
By honoring what is past, we relax our hold on it and can welcome what's to come.
~ What part of you needs to rest now? ~ Are you longing to go inward in preparation for the dark time to come? ~ How can you bring forth more quiet as we go towards this most internal time of year?
Samhain is about acknowledging what we're harvesting of the past year. We look back to look forward, honoring those gone before us, and releasing what no longer serves in ourselves to make room for all that's yet to come.
Because the veils between the worlds are thinnest at this liminal time, we have access to a unique connection with all that is beyond the rational mind.
We are half way between the equinox and the solstice.
Amidst all the uncertainty and chaotic storms of this year, How have you been changed? And how do you want to align with the Earth and her cycles to balance all you plan to DO with who you will BE?
Ask yourself "What is ready to be released?"
What will you harvest from all that's happened in your life this year to deepen your intuition, shift old unconscious patterns of privilege and victimhood, and expand the delight you were born to know?
It's time to celebrate the sweetness of this season's fruits and our own.
IS IT TIME FOR YOU TO
...tune in more deeply to nature's wisdom, deeper than you may ever have before?
...align with her cycles and an intimacy with your own deeper knowing?
...sharpen your intuition for the messages and mystery found in the land, in the rocks and trees and stars?
What You Can Expect
On the afternoon and early evening of Sunday, November 1st I invite you to join me to celebrate.
Gathering in the Time of COVID
In this time of increased precaution, we will safely gather outside with 6' social distancing to commune and connect. I will look to each woman who attends to do what is right for her to maintain safety.
Guidelines: Attendance will be limited to 8 women. All activities will take place outdoors so that we may maintain proper social distancing protocols. Masks are required when we first gather, but if distancing is maintained, will be optional as you feel the need. A bathroom indoors will be available and hand sanitizer will be provided.
Please bring bug spray, sunscreen, your mask, something to sit upon, a water bottle, a packed supper, and layers for comfort as the day cools into evening.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to share them with me!
We are inextricably a part of the natural world around us. We are fed by its life blood. Schooled by its power and resilience.
As the Natural world around us is dying Let this time invite us to also let go of what needs to be released.
Begin again to listen for Nature's messages. Allow yourself to relax into her holding.
You will regain a centered and honoring of who you are without all the trappings and superficiality our culture so values
